Welcome! I’m Tamikio L. Dooley, an author, reader, and lifelong lover of books. Writing has given me a place to explore imagination, human experiences, mystery, emotion, and the countless stories that find their way into my mind.

Over the years, I’ve written across a variety of genres, including mystery, crime, psychological fiction, women’s fiction, horror, fantasy, and African American fiction. My books may take readers into very different worlds, but storytelling remains at the heart of everything I create.

Books are also a large part of my life beyond writing. I enjoy discovering new reads, browsing my own bookshelves, visiting bookstores when the mood strikes, and simply spending quiet time with a book and a cup of coffee.

I created Warm Coffee Cafe & Books as my personal literary home—a place where I can bring all of those interests together without rules or obligations. Here, I share pieces of my writing life, books I’m reading, reflections on everyday life, bookstore adventures, creative projects, and whatever else happens to capture my interest.

This space isn't about keeping up with a schedule or trying to be everywhere at once. It’s about enjoying books, creativity, conversation, and the journey of being an author.
