When a dream-come-true abandoned book and art shop becomes a reality in a new city the grand opening is supposed to be a spectacular event.
Unfortanately, not for Alyvia Bennett.
Autumn Leaves, Books, Coffee, Art, and a Little Trouble
I'm totally excited when the autumn season returns. I enjoy the start of a beautiful autumn morning—especially when there’s coffee involved. Unfortunately, for Alyvia Bennett she doesn’t get to spend her time admiring the leaves. I gave her an art and book cafe in Woodstock, Vermont, then decided her life needed a little trouble. After all everything in life can't be a "walk in the park".
Authors can be inconsiderate like that.
But I'm happy I'm not in Alyvia's shoes right now.
Murder in Autumn brings together the comforts of a cozy setting and a mystery that won’t stay buried. Alyvia has built a life in Woodstock, but her shop becomes connected to a seven-year-old unsolved murder. As the past begins to unfold into the present, she has more to worry about than keeping the coffee hot, calling the artists, and keeping the ink off the floor and inside the books.
I gave the book a fresh autumn look. Those rich reds and golds capture the atmosphere I wanted— and I'm sure Alyvia wanted too.
About the Book
Seven years after moving to Woodstock, Alyvia Bennett's dream finally comes true to runs Alyvia’s Art & Book Café. When a connection between her shop and an unsolved murder emerges, the life she has built becomes entangled in a dangerous mystery. Alyvia's plans disrupts the killer deadly plan.
Bring your coffee. Because my book Murder in Autumn is the only book you'll need at the moment.
